Each cottage benefits from a small end of garden mooring of about 19 feet in length. One of the best way to explore the Broads is by boat and the local area has many boatyards offering boat hire by the hour, day or a week or more. You can hire canoes, rowing dinghies, dinghies with outboard engines and larger motorised day boats, all within a short distance from your door.
If you would like to hire a day boat, we recommend Wroxham Launch Hire (01603 783043). They are located directly opposite Wroxham Cottages (just over Wroxham Bridge) and offer a full choice of day boats ranging from a small 14ft open fishing dory to electric and motorised day boats and picnic boats accommodating up to a maximum of 10 people
Hire a Dory or dinghy complete with an outboard motor, full tank of fuel and insurance - available from Fish the Broads on 01603 783777 within a short 5 minute walk of your cottage. Dinghies can be moored on the private moorings alongside your cottage for the duration of your stay.
